Hand Washing

In Los Robles the WASH CHC Facilitator has installed this way for her family to hand wash when they use the latrine...using what she has available she is improving her hygiene! Awesome.  The jug holds water and the pipe is synched so as water only comes out when it is needed. With some soap, she will be set.

I also received an email from a consultant we have serving there, (Jessica) She writes -

" I purchased the materials for the clubs to make the maps and have distributed them to three of the five clubs. We are having a competition between the clubs to see who makes the map with a reward for the club with the most votes"

Another great way for the community to take ownership over their batey and also increase knowledge and understanding of it.

Please also join us in prayer, as hurricane Isaac is making its way very close to Barahona. Right now they have heavy rains, we hope this is as bad as it gets.
